THE MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS TASK FORCE

would be a forum for discussing the many aspects of mental health policy at the College and a venue for coordination among relevant institutional actors. It would not create a new bureaucracy or require new expenditures. It would move the university forward by building on its existing strengths and finding common ground  and new efficiencies.

Ideally, the co-chairs of the Task Force would be the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Associate Vice President for Health and Wellness.

This file contains research describing a public health approach to mental health. It also summarizes current data on college mental health and summarizes key research findings, including the RAND study of Active Minds.
